The hotel says the event will include:
- Live mariachi
- Folkloric dancing
- Carnival-style games
- A special menu
- Family activities
This is specifically a Peñasco del Sol Hotel event, rather than the official city El Grito ceremony.
September 15 — El Grito
The evening of September 15 is one of Mexico's most important national celebrations.
Across Mexico, communities gather for El Grito de Independencia, commemorating the beginning of Mexico's independence movement.
Puerto Peñasco traditionally joins communities across the country in celebrating with Mexican flags, music, food and festivities.
