01Sandy Beach • Championship links golf
The Links at Las Palomas
The Links brings classic links-style golf to the Sonoran coast. Its rolling fairways, coastal dunes, deep bunkers, and prevailing sea breezes reward thoughtful shot selection while delivering broad views of the Sea of Cortez.
Designed by Forrest Richards and Arthur Jack Snyder, the course also features a bonus 19th hole known as Hoyo Bonito. Collared shirts are required, jeans are not permitted, and every player must have their own clubs. The course is closed on Tuesdays.

The Club at Laguna del Mar
A peaceful semi-private course surrounded by saltwater lagoons, desert landscapes, and views toward Cerro Prieto and the Sea of Cortez. Its scenic setting gives every round a distinctly Rocky Point character.
The official Laguna del Mar website currently identifies the first nine holes as playable while the second nine are under development. Because availability and operating schedules may change, contact the club directly before making the drive.

Vidanta Puerto Peñasco Golf
This striking championship course follows a peninsula framed by a tidal estuary, inlet, dunes, desert vegetation, and the Sea of Cortez. Water borders three sides of the course, creating unforgettable views and a serious strategic challenge.
Designed by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II, the course includes ocean-side holes and a full practice experience. Ask the golf staff about current public access, available tee times, club rentals, and seasonal rates before traveling to the resort.
