What happens during Rally weekend?
The official four-day program spreads activities across Puerto Peñasco, with many of the largest gatherings in Old Port and the main visitor districts. You do not need to ride a motorcycle to enjoy the atmosphere, but visitors should expect more noise, traffic, and crowds than on a normal November weekend.
- Thursday: registration, charity poker run, boat cruise, and kick-off bike night
- Friday: poker run, Pinacate Desert Ride, boat cruise, beach party, and fiestas
- Saturday: bike parade, bike show, bike wash, fiestas, and boat cruises
- Sunday: final celebrations in Old Port
Where should visitors expect the biggest crowds?
Old Port is a central gathering area, especially for the Saturday parade and Sunday celebrations. Calle 13, the beach districts, restaurants, bars, and routes into the city can also become busy. Allow extra travel time and do not count on last-minute parking near major activities.
Do you need to register?
Registration rules and prices apply to official Rally participation and benefits. Spectators can still experience many public parts of the weekend. Check the official Rally website for the current registration package, route information, waivers, and any schedule changes before paying.
Travel and lodging advice
Rally weekend is one of Rocky Point’s highest-demand weekends. Reserve lodging early, confirm cancellation rules, carry Mexican auto insurance when driving, and check border hours before departure. Travelers who prefer a quieter stay should choose lodging away from Old Port and the busiest nightlife corridors.
